The Supply Chain & RFID/IoT Committee promotes innovation across digital supply chains, cross-border trade logistics, and RFID and passive (battery-free) IoT sensing, and the exchange of information along the AIoT sensing-layer supply chain across Australia and the Asia-Pacific.
RFID and other passive, battery-free IoT technologies are becoming core sensing infrastructure for digital supply chains, smart manufacturing, anti-counterfeiting, and transport & energy, helped along by the convergence of AI and RFID. The committee promotes innovation across digital supply chains, supply-chain finance, cross-border trade logistics, RFID, IoT sensing, asset tracking, and industrial digitalisation, and runs ACIA's RFID & passive IoT programme: an exchange of information between Australian adopters and researchers and the RFID industry in Shenzhen.
